The overall motive here is to explain:

• How to check the status of the assignments
• To see if your assignments have been uploaded in the status

IGNOU Assignment Submission Deadline

• The last date for IGNOU assignment submission is 30th April
• You can submit your assignments till 30th April

Submission Guidelines

• Where you have been asked to submit online, you will be doing it online
• Where you have been asked to submit offline, you will be doing it offline as well

How Do You Know If Your Assignment Is Submitted?

Now the biggest question that comes up is:  we have submitted but how will we know that our assignments have been submitted and submitted properly?

There are two ways to know:

1. Submission Proof

Whenever you go to submit, you get the submission proof.

Submission Type	Proof Provided
Offline	You get a receipt
Online	You get a confirmation email

Sometimes what happens online is that you do not get a confirmation mail.
In that condition, you have to wait. As soon as there is some problem in their server, the confirmation mail comes a little late.

2. Keep a Record

I will request you that whenever you submit your assignment:

• Keep a PDF record of it with you
• If doing it offline, make a PDF and keep it
• If doing it online, keep the hard copy with you as proof

At the time of submission, the submission response is also written in online and offline If you give it to someone and he makes his entry, that is also a proof.

Timeline for Status Update

Whenever you submit an assignment, the status gets updated 2 to 3 months after submission. For example:

• If the last date is 30 April and it is not extended
• Then your status will be updated online till May, June, July
• You will be able to track it

I will inform you as soon as the first update comes that the status of your assignment has started getting updated.

Current Situation (April 2025)

Right now:

• You have only the proof of what you have submitted
• There is nothing else to track online
• It will not show anything right now

So right now:

• It is useless to talk about this You have to wait till July .By June–July, your status will be update Then I will tell you how to check it .I will show you the whole process
